R E

When you come to Burnside you will have the opportunity to study Humanities.  Humanities is made up of Geography, History, RE and Citizenship lessons. You will have four lessons every week giving you the chance to study a range of interesting and exiting topics. Two lessons will be Geography and you will have one of both History and   RE (Religious Education).

Humanities gives us the skills and knowledge needed to learn about our lives, our past and how our actions affect the world in which we live.

In RE you will have the chance to learn about other peoples beliefs and cultures. You will experience different music, food and art form around the world and look at the lives of important figures like Mahatma Ghandi and Martin Luther King.
